Caseload Management Template

The purpose of this resource is to help special education teachers organize their caseload of students at the beginning of the school year. The template provides areas for teachers to document the IEP dates, RR dates, placement information, parent contact information, etc., and can be modified based on the teacher's needs and preferences. This template provides the special education teacher with easy-to-access information about their entire caseload in 1 document. The document also comes with a cover letter to distribute to general education teachers and special area teachers (music, art, physical education, etc.) at the beginning of the school year.

Providing data to parents/guardians/family members at school conferences is a valuable practice that benefits student growth as it promotes transparency, collaboration, and informed decision-making, ultimately contributing to better student outcomes. Using a resource to organize data to use during conferences all stakeholders can make more informed decisions about the student’s education.
